ISHIR hopes for enhanced business opportunities through the HUB certification.

Dallas, TX. (September 11, 2008) – The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts granted ISHIR, Inc., through the certification and compliance procedures of the Texas Procurement and Support Services (TPSS), as a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB). To be approved for HUB certification, at least 51% of a profit-making company, sole proprietorship or joint venture’s equitable securities or stocks must be owned and managed by minorities. Minority members include those who are Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American or American women from ethnic backgrounds not previously listed.

“We are honored to have been given this certification and have hopes to increase business opportunities with other minority enterprises,” Rishi Khanna, managing director, said. “The HUB certificate will help elevate future business relationships within Texas.”

HUB certifications are valid for 4 years, given that the business continues to meet eligibility requirements.
