ISHIR Awarded Minority Business Enterprise Certificate

The North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (NCTRCA) honors ISHIR as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

On June 24, 2008 ISHIR has met the North Texas Minority Development Council (NTMDC) requirements as a minority owned and controlled company. The Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certificate was granted to ISHIR by the North Central Texas Regional Certification Agency in Dallas Texas. To obtain Texas MBE, defined by both Texas state and US federal laws, at least 51% of the business, must be owned, managed, and controlled by minority person(s).

The NCTRCA’s mission is to provide assistance through education and counseling to applicants throughout the certification process in order to build a certified vendor pool for member entities.

MBE recognizes minority business enterprises nationwide and offers benefits to its members. Certified members are exposed to local, regional and over 3,600 national companies that furnish networking opportunities with other corporate members. Over two-thirds of MBEs have seen an increase in revenue through corporate members and partnerships.

“We are very excited to have received this honor from the NCTRCA. Our Texas MBE certification enables us to expand our customer base and provides a great opportunity for growth, especially with companies that value diversity.”
